Image licensing information

The photographs in the Dengler Images archive are licensed as rights-managed images. Licensing images as rights-managed means that pricing is based on:

USE (print, broadcast, online, magazine, newspaper, advertisement)
PLACEMENT (position and location in a publication, or website)
SIZE (the size of the image in relation to the page, or design)
CIRCULATION (press run, number distributed or displayed)
DURATION (The period during which a license is active. The end date is defined by the duration and the start date. Our licenses are for one year. We will be glad to discuss longer-term licensing)
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION (where the image will be distributed or broadcast)

Long-term usage, multiple image discounts can be negotiated, as well as exclusivity.

We do not offer royalty-free image licensing.

All of our images are registered with the United States Copyright Office. Violation of copyright will be actively prosecuted.
